Our constant aim is to develop new ways to engage people whilst always remaining true to our approach. The approach is simple and very effective and based on how people change. It follows a simple logic that says:
- Put the right information in front of people in an interesting and engaging format.
- Allow them time to draw on it and use what they have in their minds.
- Allow them to discuss and consider their conclusions with others.
- Facilitate the discussions to confirm the conclusions people have drawn.
- Allow people to take actions locally (to make the change stick).
This is quite different from listening to someone else tell you his or her own conclusions and expecting you to understand fully what it means and to act upon it. It means the difference between buy-in and commitment to action and nodding heads with nothing to follow.
Whatever the size of the programme, from small groups in a workshop to tens of thousands, we start with the creation of a series of structured discussions around tables of four, using one or a number of our formats.
